DeAnna has an extensive understanding of human behavior from over 25 years of working in the field of social services. In addition, DeAnna uses her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University, her certification in Therapeutic Art Life Coaching, and her AWBW/Art Transforming Trauma Certification to teach Life Skills. DeAnna is a Certified Community Health Worker with The Indiana Community Health Workers Association, She's Certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid, A Certified Master Trainer for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), and a Certified Financial Health Counselor. In addition, DeAnna has completed trainings in Motivational Interviewing, Social Determinants of Health, Nurturing Parenting, Trust Based Ralational Interventions, Health Disparities, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion.

DeAnna was an independent provider for the Indiana's Division of Mental Health and Addiction's Child Mental Health Wraparound Program for over ten years before converting to LILAC. She truly believes in uplifting the community with love and compassion.
